Inspiring Spaces: Indoor Fort

I hope that your holidays have been lovely thus far.  Now that Christmas is over and I'm gradually reemerging into reality, I've been thinking about our big move to San Francisco.  The home we are buying needs some renovation, so I've been contemplating what I want out of the space.

In the process, I've been thinking about our kids' rooms-- what they'll be needing and wanting in their space as they grow up.  Here's one of the spaces that has been inspiring me.

Isn't it dreamy?  I love how it creates a quiet little oasis in the middle of the bedroom.  The chandelier, painted table, and poof are such unusual additions to a fort, but they give it such a warm, cozy feeling.  I love it (and wish I had one growing up... or now, even).
