Here's a glimpse into my weekend.  I've been excited to wear this blouse-- after all, the peplum (in the form of tops, pants, coats, dresses) is here, there, and everywhere.

This was one of my first forays into the land of the peplum-- and I learned that wearing a coat over it, while necessary because of the weather that night, is a little bit of a challenge.  To keep its shape, the peplum has to be somewhat stiff (and stick out a bit).  So putting a blazer over it can be a little bit funny (you can see above that the peplum was fighting to be seen).  Nonetheless, I really love it, and I'll throw a blazer over it until it's not necessary anymore.
