Sunny Day Dresses

Here's some inspiration for the weekend (and warmer days ahead).  Here are two lovely printed day dresses to contemplate as winter lingers on.  With gorgeous orchid and bright polka dots, respectively, they're sure to bring a smile to your face.

How beautiful is this dress?  It's the dress of my dreams right now.  I loooooove the colors, the retro silhouette, the fact that it could be worn for so many different occasions.  I can imagine it in so many different places, a summer wedding, a lovely luncheon, a graduation... even out and about (if there's no chance of getting dirty).  It could be dressed down with flats, sandals, a cardigan...

And how about this sweet little number?  It accomplishes all the same things: sunny disposition (a.k.a. a print that makes you happy), a slightly retro vibe, a multitude of opportunities to don it (I'm thinking it could go nearly anywhere, and could be dressed up or down)... and it accomplishes all of this at a fraction of the cost.
