A Few Things I'm Loving Right Now

I know that winter has been mild here on the East Coast, but I am still fervently praying for true Spring to arrive here... and fast.  So here are a few bits of Spring inspiring me right now (and a song I can't get out of my head).

Aren't these jeans fabulous?  They are the result of a design collaboration between DVF and Current Elliott (one of the hottest jeans-makers there is).  Their Hawaiian floral print makes me so happy and makes me feel that Summer can't be far away.

These shoes make me happy too and feel perfect for Spring (even if, when it comes, it's a little wet).  They are rubber and cute and comfy, which surely has to be one of the rarest of combinations.  **Note, however, that I had to buy them a full size down-- I normally wear size 9 and had to get them in size 8-- for them not to fall off my feet.

Doesn't this minty bag make you want to sing and skip down the street?  No?  Just me, huh?  Well, I think it's amazing.  Its color makes me insanely happy.  It reminds me of mints, or macaroons, or well, a deliciously perfect handbag.  I think it would look great with just about any Spring hue: white, pink, lavender, bright green, neon yellow... you name it.  Now, if I can save long enough to buy it without it selling out...

And, finally, I will leave you with the song playing on constant repeat in my mind (and on my stereo) since I first heard it:

Words fail me when I try to explain how much I love this song (by a band called Fun.).  The beat just begs to be blared from a car window on a glorious day.  And the song itself beseeches (me) to play it over and over (even though the subject matter- willingness to carry someone home from a bar, because they can't make it home themselves, is something I never had much experience with).  So I do.  I cannot get enough.  Take a listen... do you see what I mean?

**Note: It turned out to be such a beautiful day that I did, in fact, roll down the windows and blare this song from my car in the golden sunshine.  It had to be done.
