Pumpkin. It's not just a vegetable, it's also a really cool fall color. I love this pumpkin-colored thin sweater by Vince (which is just a fabulous, well-priced everyday line, generally). It's a wonderful layering piece. I love to put it over a white tee shirt and wear it with rolled-cuff boyfriend jeans, but you could also wear it with black pants, a maxi skirt, or even under a suit.
It's the perfect shot of color if (like Jackie) your closet is full of chic and timeless staples. And when the weather gets colder, it'll look fabulous peeking out from under a pea coat, dark rain coat, or plush winter jacket.
