Spring Things

Is it sick that I'm already planning Spring outfits, though winter just started and there are months of pain ahead?  I say no, because planning Spring outfits helps me get through the long, cold, evil winter.

So, here goes... Check out this look from The Row's Resort 2012 collection:

Hello??  How amazing is this outfit?  I want to look like this right now from head to toe, but since that is not possible (because I would literally have to wear that outfit for the rest of my life to justify the cost, plus I don't wear hats), how about taking the rad culottes from the outfit and working with them.

Now, I haven't worn culottes since I was 12 or so (and it wasn't a particularly good look then), but as you can see above, these culottes wear like a skirt.  They are so fab I want to work my whole Spring wardrobe around them.  But I'm not going to be sitting at my computer or running around with my kids with a blazer on, so how about pairing them with this shirt:

Fun, don't you think?  Then maybe you could add a pair of ballet flats like these:

They are, seriously, dead ringers for the ballets that Celine has been doing the past few years (and so much less expensive!!).  Love them!  Or you could search out some brogues like the ones MK and Ashley styled their culottes with above (here's a similar pair).  Love those too.
