Deborah Lippmann Between the Sheets (click on the name to follow the link to Beauty.com where you can buy it)
How fun is this poppy purply fuschia? What a bright new addition for the new year! How cute would this be peeking out on nails or toes? It'll make your winter uniform look a bit more springy and fun.
Deborah Lippmann Girls Just Want to Have Fun
This corally orange is a fun pop of brightness, and it's close to what Pantone has declared to be the "Color of the Year" for 2012-- Tangerine Tango-- a bright poppy reddish orange. What a great way to start the new year by getting ahead of the game by wearing one of the hippest colors of the year!
For a more neutral color (with a great name), check out Butter London's Yummy Mummy.
It's sort of a plummy nude. And I find the name so inspiring, I feel a little hotter just knowing that's what it's called. Did you resolve to be hotter this new year? Well, how about starting the year off feeling like a Yummy Mummy?

love that purple, and totally agree...why wait until spring to brighten up your wardrobe- or my daily black :)!
ReplyDeleteI would love to do some sort of striped design with that orange and purple. Gorgeous colors - now I want to go shopping for new nail polish! Because you can't ever have enough, can you?

Thank you for all your comments, gals!! I love hearing what you think, and I'd love to see your nails if you try any of these colors. :)
ReplyDeleteBritt+Whit- I couldn't agree more about Essie! It's my fave. In fact, I vary between their zillions of imperceptibly different pale pinks. That's why I decided to try some new inspiration for spring! I'll be moving to SF soon and would love to hear any advice you have for a new San Franciscan!
Small Town, Big Wardrobe- I love your idea of stripes!! Let me know if you try it out!
