Minty

Minty

Minty by alexsinger featuring knit tops

Clearly, J. Crew is inspiring me this week.  Just a few days after gushing about their metallic loafers,
I'm back with an ode to all things mint green on their site right now (AND all on sale as well-- don't forget to insert the code 'WINTER' at check out to get a further 30% off of their sale merchandise.
And check in their sale section to find these items.  You can't get to them by searching by color,
for instance).

Mint green is a lovely, springy shade, and there's plenty of it to be had-- for you, your sons
and daughters (if you've got them), and even your nails.  Plenty of options to choose from.  But
choose them quickly.  I actually became enamored of a J. Crew-looking sweater like those above
that I saw on a stranger last spring, only to go to their site and see it completely sold out.

I'm excited to add mint to my wardrobe.  It's just the right touch, and it accomplishes one of my
New Year's fashion resolutions: mixing pastels into my wardrobe.  One down, a few more to go...

  2. I like denim or white tones with it, personally. You can also mix other pastels with it, or even mix a little neon with it. Kids, especially, can get away with funky color combinations. Enjoy!
