Shoes: Alexander Wang
Well, I tried them on, and there are a few things I want to tell you. Firstly, they are TALL. I believe I saw them listed online as somewhere between 4 and 4.5 inches high. That should have told me all I needed to know, because really 3.5 inches should be my limit. As I've explained, my husband is shorter than me, and I don't walk so well in high heels (now that I have so much less practice as I'm running after my two little kids).
Anyway, these shoes are amazing in real life. They look as stunning as I imagined, with the pop of bright blue peeking out and all the incredible textures and colors involved.
However, they are also what I call "valet shoes" (a.k.a. the kind of shoes one should only wear if she will only be walking a few steps a night, because, for instance, you're going out to a restaurant to which you will drive and at which a valet will park your car. Valet shoes often make it difficult to do so much as walk to the bathroom during dinner, particularly if the restrooms are on a different floor than the rest of the restaurant). As amazing as they are, dang are they hard to walk in.
That said, they are stunning when you're just standing still when looking in the mirror. Which may be about all I could pull off in them. Sad sad reality, why do you impinge on my dreams like that?

I love the colour of this heel..its so architectural and cool! And its totally sporty too! AMAZZZZING Wang heel!
