Corduroys are fabulous this fall. There are more colors and shapes (skinny corduroys, anyone?) than ever. Because they come in so many great colors, corduroys are perfect for colorblocking too (which is basically putting lots of bright colors together in ways that would have seemed outlandish not long ago). Hence, the first outfit, with the apparently incongruent (but cool nonetheless) bright yellow, red, and pink.
Or, you can go with a bootcut corduroy, as in the second outfit, and opt for color on top. So many options, so many colors. It's a perfect way to experiment. And a great way to break out of a jeans rut, if you need some variety.
