Traditionally, sequins are for nighttime or little girls' ballet costumes. But recently I've run into some inspiring pictures of beautiful bloggers (Nicole Warne of Gary Pepper Vintage and Blair Eadie of Atlantic-Pacific) rocking sequins for day. I'm still trying to find a way to pull this off, but I'm on a mission. Given that sequins add sparkle and a dose of lightheartedness to an outfit, I want in. And now that I see that sequins can be combined with any number of the following, I feel the options have expanded: gingham (hello??? sequins + gingham = inspired), floral print, stripey bow-enhanced Mary Janes, skinny white jeans, leather jackets... It appears that the possibilities are endless!
