Pop!!

To prove that I am not immune to my own calls for more color in the world, here is my handbag and its contents right now.  The bag itself is bright yellow, the iPad cover hot pink, the wallet a shade of purple, the diaper sack polka dotted with neon, and even the book cover saturated with color.

I worried about buying this bag, because I worried that it'd be too loud to wear every day, but I've found just the opposite.  Given the current sartorial climate, with its loud colors and bold mixes of color, print, and pattern, hot yellow looks right with nearly everything (especially if you pair them with shoes like this):

Crazy, right?  I know it might seem like I'm losing my mind with these pixelated flats, and my mint jeans (which I wrote about here and here), and my hot yellow bag... but ya know what? Outside my window things are going crazy right now too, with the amazing bursts of color everywhere from spring's arrival, and I'm just going to go with it!
