Interesting denim isn't going away. Now that brightly hued jeans have lasted a few seasons, the latest trend is printed denim. At first, I wasn't sure about this one. I'm always a bit leery about printed pants. They can just look a bit, well, like you have things crawling on you or something. Or too many tattoos. It can seem like a trend best left to teenagers or at least people without children.
But now that Kate Moss (herself a mother) has worn them (and shown us how to do it), there's no question that this trend is here to stay. Kate chose to wear her leopard skinny jeans with all black accessories which looks right. At the least, I'd be hesitant to wear printed denim with a lot of other prints or accessories (but I'm a bit conservative). Lord knows that prints on prints are all over right now. But if you're just dipping your toe in this trend, I'd say follow Kate and wear monochromatic accessories with your printed denim. And then have at it!!
